starfamily Posted October 13, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 13, 2006 My friend is booked in a D1 cabin on SOS cabin 9046 she has two children and a husbaqnd joining her. I am a bit concerned they will be quite cramped in the cabin. It looks like the sofa bed is a single if I am reading it right and the pullman comes out over their bed? Has anyone been in this cabin and can tell me? I think they should move up a level
Rala Posted October 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 13, 2006 D1 cabins on serenade are 204 sq. feet with an additional 41 sq. feet of balcony space if they have standard size balcony. The sofa bed is said to be a double, but in my experience it is a smallish double. They will probably be able to manage, but there will not be a lot of walking around room especially when the sofa bed is open. How old are the children and how much "stuff" will they have? These factors could make a difference in how cramped or not they are. In any case, I wish them a wonderful cruise!
