Contacting the conciege on Enchantment?

If Carlos is still there, don't expect much in the way of service.

I was on the Enchantment on a Crown and Anchor Cruise this past January and he was the least customer oriented concierge I have ever encountered.

He and his "assistant" (who did most of the work) also made fun of clients behind their back whispering with each other.

He also was pretty useless in getting tender and ice skating show tickets.

Most RCI concierge staff are terrific (such as Jason on the Jewel). But Carlos, not in the same league.

I could not disagree more. I have just come off back to back on Enchantment. Carlos is great at his job. He could not have been any better. He is very nice. He serves your drinks and always smiles. After many cruises sometimes I think the passangers are the problem not the ship staff. I have often laughed at the amazing stupidity of some passangers.

Also I do not think its proper for you to trash Carlos on these boards.

But then again you could be one of "those" passangers....LOL

Julian is on vacation for a couple of months. Carlos is there now.

I was on the Enchantment back to back so I got both Julian and

Carlos. I found Carlos to be very personable, polite, professional and

always kept your drink full. He busted his A__ with getting to everyone

and making sure they had whatever they needed. I look forward

to seeing him again when we are on the Explorer.

Julian-- Well, he's another topic. I'm part of his fan club along with

Mommabean. Both great concierges but in different ways.

I was talking about a different Carlos perhaps.

It was on the Mariner the last week in April (23rd) where I had my Carlos experience, whichever one he was. My wife set me right.

I was on five RCI cruises in six months and got confused, but no excuse.

Sorry to all for bad information.

I'm headed out on the Freedom tomorrow and I promise to take better notes.

We were on Mariner last week and they had to open a satellite lounge in the Viking Crown. Julie, a charming new employee working in guest relations, and Dennis (bartender) staffed the lounge and they were super great!

DH and I sailed on the Enchantment on the 6 November departure.

Carlos was the concierge and we liked him very much. He knew everyone's preferences after the first night or two. He seemed, however, to have a problem with the fellow who was supposed to deliver the ice, hors d'oerves, etc. Carlos actually had to go looking for this guy one night, and was very apologetic to those of us in the lounge. He said he was preparing to go on vacation the third week of November, and would be gone for two months. He didn't mention whether he would be returning to the Enchantment. Incidentally, we've cruised on much larger ships, but found the Enchantment to be lovely, and very well kept.
