Hi CC's, our view of the 7 night Fantastique - Oct 11 - 18, 2008. Noumea, Lifou and Port Vila. Gizigoo will eventually paste our meeting with Chrissy the hospital lady so wont repeat them here. Thanks to all the other photo pasters, helps extend the happy memories and perhaps show places for next visit (we hope). Regards G & H

Here are the pics we took on the W829 Cruise to the South Pacific on the Pacific Dawn - got back Thursday. Managed to condense the 900+ pics down to 250 to share - not an easy task!

Wonderful pictures! Brought back many memories of our recent cruise on Pacific Dawn!

 

Just wondering - what was the besser-block building on Mystery Island?? It's new since we were there.

I think the building is still just under construction, great solar power panel on it though.

it is right near the runway so maybe the new airport terminal, or maybe a day spa or macdonalds.

 

 

Airport building sounds practical... Just looks a bit out of place I reckon. I like Mystery Island (even though we got soaked to the bone) because it was so "island" - if that makes sense - there wasn't much there and that was it's appeal.

Loved your pics....all 250 of them. (We are going on a similar cruise next year except we are going to Pentecost Island and not Wala (we have been to Wala and it is just beautiful). Thanks for your memories.:)

DH and I are pretty sure it was a seagull - we saw a couple of other single ones on the way back to Sydney that were definitely seagulls. It was lovely to see it!

We have no idea what the new building on Mystery Island is - it was definitely still under construction and there was no indication as to what it was for.

Your photos are beautiful! I loved the sunset ones. Thanks for sharing. I felt like I was on the cruise too and it makes me want to go on a cruise again even more now! Looks like you had a wonderful cruise. :)

Thanks so much GundyGirl and Louise - GundyGirl, I am sure you are enjoying your countdown, I was counting the sleeps way too early for a normal grown woman LOL! Louise - the sunsets were really beautiful - there was something very special about being able to witness them out at sea. Hope you get to go on one again soon!

Thankyou for sharing your photos.We did the exact same cruise last year & your pictures brought back lots of happy memories. Do you have any more cruises planned for next year?
