poptart Posted October 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Kudos to Carnival and the staff at Port Canveral. My brother-in-law and his wife just returned from the Fantasy (10/5 sailing) from their 1st cruise. When they got off the ship they left all of her jewelery locked in the safe  They left the port and went to tour the Space Center. A few hours later they realized what they had done. BIL jumps in car and races back to the port. Yeehaw!! They had every piece of her jewelery right there. They said they were going to send it to Miami to mail back to her. They loved the cruise--now they're hooked and can't wait to go again. But sil says she won't take all her jewelery with her next time.
habby Posted October 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Glad to hear some good news. A letter to the corporate offices would be a really nice touch, especially if your brother-in-law remembers the names of who he spoke with.
poptart Posted October 17, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted October 17, 2006 I'll be sure to tell them to get a letter written! I didn't even think of that.
Lisab733 Posted October 17, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 17, 2006 On our cruise this past June my DD left all her bathing suits, under garments and a few other things on the ship (forgot to empty out her drawer). We chaulked it up to a learning experience since we knew there was no way we would get all the stuff back. Well about three weeks later we get this package from Carnival and lo and behold it is ALL of her stuff!:D I couldn't believe it, well we immediately sent Carnival a THANK YOU! Just the bathing suits alone were worth a coulple of $$$ (six suits to be exact). We too are hooked and are glad that you were able to recover your Jewlery. It just goes to show how people can be trusted in this day and age...:p :p Happy Cruising
