legalslave Posted October 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2006 I booked a cruise for the Oosterdam but did not book through HAL. I went to the website and it appears I can only get on the website if I booked through HAL. Can anyone tell me how I can get in and also the correct website address? Mollynme Posted October 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 15, 2006 http://www.hollandamerica.com/ will get you to the "front door". What url were you using?
KalenaD Posted October 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 15, 2006 As far as I can tell, you can only do your immigration form and purchase shore excursions if you did not book through the HAL website. All other booking information you would have to get from your travel agent.
Krazy Kruizers Posted October 15, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 15, 2006 It doesn't matter whether you book your cruise with HAL or not. http://www.hollandamerica.com

KalenaD Posted October 15, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 15, 2006 Krazy, according to the HAL website, in order to view your bookings you must have a user id and password that was created "WHEN YOU BOOKED YOUR CRUISE ON THE HOLLAND AMERICA WEBSITE" this is a direct quote from the websitehttps://hollandamerica.com/viewbooking/login.do;jsessionid=IcnrfHvjC6Z48u0Cd8HeD7U I've tried several times to find a way to view my booking. Is there a way to do it?

I went to the website and it appears I can only get on the website if I booked through HAL. Can anyone tell me how I can get in and also the correct website address? Diane You can access your immigration form without a "User ID". All you need is your booking number: https://www.hollandamerica.com/checkin/loginStart.do;jsessionid=xfM79WXM2Mi_rnscffvvuxs The same holds true for prebooking shore excursions: https://www.hollandamerica.com/shorex/shorex.do;jsessionid=xfM79WXM2Mi_rnscffvvuxs HAL's web site could be more user friendly. It's not intuitive; you need to browse your way thru it.
legalslave Posted October 15, 2006 Author #9 Share Posted October 15, 2006 I was on the correct website. Thanks to your replies, I realized I did not need to sign in to get to my booking. What I did was click on "For booked guests" and when it came to the next page, I clicked on Immigration Forms". I knew I would find the info I needed on this board. Thank you all very much! ndavis7515 Posted October 15, 2006 #10 Share Posted October 15, 2006 I booked through HAL, but they included a notice about how to transfer the booking to my TA. I didn't transfer it, because it said that once I transferred it I could no longer access my booking under the registered account and all future inquiries would need to be done through my TA. legalslave Posted October 15, 2006 Author #11 Share Posted October 15, 2006 I wouldn't give up my TA for anything! She really does care about her clients. I can reach her 7 days a week, even when she's on a cruise! She's awesome! Diane
