Oh My!! Freedom and Explorer!! HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know this will be the first time that the Freedom OTS meets the Explorer OTS, but I am VERY concerned about parking, the lines, and pure chaos.

We are sailing Thanksgiving with the Freedom OTS, Explorer OTS, a Norwegian Ship, and 2 Carnival Ships all at once. The Freedom OTS, Explorer OTS, and Norwegian Ship are all very close together. My main concern is parking. That is going to be 6,000 + people in that terminal and I don't know how many drive, but with the Navigator OTS and Voyager OTS on Saturday, and Freedom OTS and Explorer OTS on Sunday, is there going to be sufficent parking available??

Also, I read another thread that states that priority boarding is NO LONGER available in Miami. If this is true, isn't there going to be huge Lines??? The Last Time, before I was a even a Plat Member, we sailed on the Navigator and I vowed I WOULD NEVER sail on a big ship again b/c of the lines and pure chaos. Now that I am a Dia Member, I reconsidered and booked another BIG SHIP Cruise!! This line thing is starting to worry me though, so Does anyone have any advice or experiences with the Lines of FREEDOM OTS, or lack of lines.......hopefully!!

Thanks Everyone!

We sailed on Freedom 9/10/06. We drove to Miami. There was plenty of parking spaces available on Sunday to choose from.

There was not a diamond lounge like in the past, however there is priority check in for diamond and platinum. We are not platinum, however we were boarding with some diamond members. they did allow us to go to the counter to check in with them, but we were not allowed to board with them. We all waited in the same area, and they had a tag for "priority " boarding, we were in group one. They called group one within minutes of letting the priority group in. It moved very quickly. We got to the port around 10:30 am, and waited maybe 45 minutes before we could check in, then another 15 or so until we boarded. I think we would have got on sooner, but there were 3 weddings on board that had guests boarding with day passes. All in all, it went smoothly, but I know the diamond members were not happy there was not a special lounge.

Hope this helps.

Freedom has already been in port with other Voyager class ships (Navigator) and I don't recall hearing of any issues on these boards.

The only longer lines I experienced on Freedom were in the Windjammer.
