Ship Excursions on HAL Amsterdam ?

My husband & I are travelling on the HAL Amsterdam to the So. Carib/Panama Canal on 11/19/06. We will be in Aruba from 7am to 9pm. We are considering 2 ship excursions: "Aruba Town & Countryside" @ 1:15pm & "Aruba Sea & Shore" @ 8:15am (which supposedly arrives back @ 12:15pm). We may even consider both of them.

 

Has anyone done either of these? Do you have any suggestions or comments on either of these or the possiblity of fitting both in together.

We did the Sea & Shore. It was good. We went to the Casiribi Rocks, the Natural Bridge (though the biggest one has been destroyed by storm), the lighthouse. We didn't stay very long at each place. The gift shop was closed at the Bridge because we were there early. We then went to Palm Beach where we picked up a ferry boat that took us out to the submarine. We had to wait at the pier for about 1/2 hour before we got the ferry. They bring a group out & then bring another group back. Since there were 2 buses from our ship. we had to wait for the first group to finish. We were back later than expected.
