Residence Inn Miami Airport West / Doral

Any one ever stay here? We are looking at Feb 9, 2007 - 4 people and they have a 2 Bedroom/2 bath suite for $227. I am thinking of booking it as a cancellable until I can get (hopefully) IC at a decent rate.

Does anyone know anything about whether it is indeed opening?

The opening date has been pushed back a few times already.

It says it has free breakfast, shuttle, pool....

I wondered why you were bumping a 10 year old thread, but I got it now. ;)

 

The website let me do a mock booking for Oct. 15 but on no date prior to that. Must mean something. :) I suggest you phone them; specific Marriott hotels are near impossible to e-mail (have tried many times at many properties).

Yes'm not sure what's up with that old post...

I do have a reservation here for October 23rd booked with Marriott points. No one answers at the hotel phone number or responds to my voicemail. At the Marriott general number they look it up and say yes it will be open.

I would love to hear from someone who has actually seen it or had contact about this hotel. I'm thinking of booking another hotel as a backup but really like the inclusions here.

Doral is West of MIA - away from the port. That will be a long cab ride to POM. :(
