Volendam 11/03/06 Cabin C3322

Good Evening,

We just got our cabin assignment and wonder if anyone can tell us anything about this cabin that is not in the brochure. We had a MM gty. and our travel agent changed us to a cat. "F" last night due to price drops and today we were assigned the Cat C and cabin number above.

It looks like a fairly good location so we are pleased with that.

Thanks for you input.

Paying for an MM and ending up with a C sounds like a pretty great deal to me! :)

I'm wondering, though, if being right next to the Atrium, and possibly a door out onto the Promenade (not sure about that) might result in something of a pedestrian noise problem.

We were in 3328 two years ago. I loved the location. The cabin is a bit smaller (by about the size of one closet is my estimate), but the stairs are nearby, and that worked for us because we could just walk up one flight for almost anything and not wait on elevators.

The Captain's VIP Party was in the lobby just outside our doors, and it got blocked off for a couple of hours one day. The doors to the Promenade do open and close, but I didn't find that too offensive. Just keep your blinds closed in the evening, and no one can see in. If the lights are on in the cabin in the evening, you do have an inside view from the Promenade. I don't think they could see in during the day time anyway. (We checked!)

Thanks for the tips.. but Old Folks don't stay up late banging doors anyways do they? ha-ha..

It may bother the missus, but when I take out my hearing Aides it don't bother me..

We feel very fortunate with the upgrade. I can't make out if that is a set of doors next to our cabin or not... we may have to put an our of order sign on it each night..ha-ha..
