CRUISER WI Posted October 18, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 18, 2006 My husband and I are sailing this Sunday on the Liberty. We are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary with this cruise. My questions has to do with dress in the evening. I know we will have at least two formal nights but am wondering about the other evenings. If anyone who has sailed this summer on a Med Cruise could give me some idea regarding this I would greatly appreciate it....Thanks.
TicTac#2 Posted October 18, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 18, 2006 It may depend on length of the cruise, on 7 day cruises its 2 formal days. On 9-10 days its also usually 2 formal nights and sometime an "formal optional" night and on 12+ day cruises is 3 or more formal nights. chrismxn Posted October 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 18, 2006 I just got off the Liberty we had 2 formal nights. The other nights were just casual. I wore Docker style pants and polo shirts and fit in just fine. The Liberty is great and the ports were the best. have a great time Chris
bphman Posted October 18, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 18, 2006 There are 2 formal nights and, I must say, for a Carnival cruise we had the most people dressed in tuxedos than I had ever witnessed. Most people dressed appropriately. The fellow across from us even wore a polo shirt which was a big step up from the t-shirts he usually wore. The other nights were resort casual. You'll love the cruise. Very port intensive and very strenuous with very early excursions but a fantastic trip. We loved the ship so much that we are booked on her for Christmas.
