C&A Gifts and Membership Question

The C&A gifts are delivered to your room by your cabin steward. On my recent Radiance cruise, it was a logo-embossed picture frame. In the past I've gotten tote bags and toiletry kits. There are numerous threads floating around discussing the current gifts.

If memory serves, when I sailed with a non-member, only I got the gift, but I've only done this once so I may not be remembering correctly. You'll be able to bring your cabin-mate as your guest to the C&A party though.

Your stateroom attendant will deliver the gifts to your room on the second night. Only the persons who are members of C&A will receive the gifts. It is usually a tote bag or a picture frame and an onboard coupon book. When I sailed on the explorer for 10 nights, it was a tote bag. When I sailed on the Sovereign for 4 nights, it was a picture frame. I think it all depends on the number of nights you are sailing. Longer the cruise, the better the gift.

Have fun on the trip.

So... you get coupon books when you arrive in your room then ? My parents are C & A members now and have booked us all on a cruise next month... they received something in the mail last week but do they get things in their room too ? It is my family's first cruise and my mom said if they have coupons ie. I heard there is a JR one to waive the fee, that they will let us use their coupon, can they do this ? THanks:)

Everyone is confident in that they send the stuff to your room? I thought I had read you had to go somewhere with other C and A members and pick it up or something...

OHHHH, called the WELCOME BACK party or something? Does that ring a bell with anyone?

kingsgirls, your cabin steward is SUPPOSED to put the coupon book in your cabin. S/He is also supposed to give you the written invitation to the repeaters'/C&A party. If you don't get these, ask.

They do deliver the gift to your cabin, usually on the second day. The coupon book is usually given in person to us on the first day. And they leave the invitation to the Welcome Back Party in your stateroom or by the door as well.

Be sure to attend the Welcome Back party. They serve free drinks. :D
