bartleby112 Posted October 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 19, 2006 If my friends and i bring 3 12 packs of cans on board will they freak out and take 1 or 2 away? There are 3 of us total so we were thinking one 12 pack per person.
Cotton Posted October 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 19, 2006 Y'all will be just fine. They would consider that a reasonable amount.:)
PlanoDebbie Posted October 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 20, 2006 If my friends and i bring 3 12 packs of cans on board will they freak out and take 1 or 2 away? There are 3 of us total so we were thinking one 12 pack per person. Here's my suggestion. Buy the resealable plastic bottles rather than cans. You can then pack them all into one checked bag so that you don't have to drag them to your cabin. At the end of your cruise you'll have an empty suitcase for dirty clothes or items you bought during the week. By checking the bag with plastic bottles, they are less likely to explode. Cans when crushed with other suitcases on top of them could be a disaster. We took a case of water and a case of soda all in plastic bottles. The suitcase weighed a ton, but everything go to our room in perfect shape.
sfagent Posted October 20, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 20, 2006 We just sailed the Miracle and as my carry on bag I had a folding cooler on wheels (the soft side) and carried on 2 cases of soft drinks plus a six pack of 16 ounce waters all crammed into the cooler. Stuck it on the x-ray machine and no one ever said a thing. This was Tampa, but we've done the same thing in Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.
margar89 Posted October 20, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 20, 2006 Just returned from Miracle out of Tampa. Carried on 2 12-packs of soda and 3 bottles of wine. Put the wine in our suitcases that we gave to the porter, which was later delivered to our cabin. Put the soda in a carry-on bag, put it thru the w-ray and walked right in! No problem!
