DEHM Posted October 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Maybe someone can help clear this up for me. I realize that you cannot bring your own alchol onto the ship, however, what about non-alcholic beverages? I did read the NCl policy on resticted items, but it says intoxicating liquors, and beverages. SO are they being redundent, or are all beverages not allowed. I have read the thread on bar set ups and see a lot of people talking about bringing your own mixers, which is what prompted me to ask. ALso I would like to bring some soda with me. Appriciate any help.

Like no liquor or beer :) This little typo (perhaps intentional) in the FAQs has created confusion for years. - intoxicating liquors and beverages Never heard of anyone not being able to bring soda and water. electricron Posted October 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2006 You can bring your own soda/pop aboard NCL ships. Just don't try to bring a truckload of sodas aboard.
DEHM Posted October 22, 2006 Author #4 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Thanks folks! I'm not sure what constitutes a truck load :) I do drink a lot of soda, but I drink Coke zero and no one ever has it on fountain, so I was hoping to bring my own. Is there a limit of some sort? Or rather, do I just not want to look like I'm setting up a soda business in my cabin?
johnql Posted October 22, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Many people have reported taking onboard a couple 12-packs of soda or even a case of bottled water. I myself always take two 6-packs. No problem whatsoever.
watchdiva Posted October 23, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 23, 2006 We always bring 2 12-packs of Pepsi and have never had a problem bringing it onboard. Since hubby and I are die-hard Pepsi fans, we make sure that at the first island we come to, we bring back another 12 pack with us to the ship.
