Carnival Glory

Does the Glory dock or tender? Does anyone know or does it change from week to week?

If you will go to this link

and put in the date you will be in Cozumel...it will tell you how many ships are going to be in port.

We were on the Miracle with 3 other ships in port that day (on October 11th ) and we got to dock at the newly opened Punta Langosta. (across from Carlos N Charlies)

Naturally the lower number of ships in port...the higher the chance that you will get to dock.

The PL holds 2 ships now. We were tied up across from a Disney ship. The Holiday tendered in that day and RCCL had a ship at their International Pier.

Good Luck!!!

I think it depends on the number of ships. We docked in August and there was another Carnival ship that ended up tendering.

8/92 Monarch of the Seas

3/93 Mardi Gras

3/03 Victory

8/06 Glory

That's what happened on the 11th. The Miracle was docked and the Holiday tendered in. I don't know about the other cruise lines, but Carnival still has some tendering contracts to honor from Wilma. If there is more than one Carnival ship in port, I would imagine that at least one will be tendered in until they get their dock rebuilt....which from rumors could take as long as the end of 2007 and into 2008.
