Where does the line seperate ?

There will be people outside of the gate at the end of the dock.

Show them your documents showing you get VIP embarkation. That would be Cat 11, Cat 12, Platinum status, or Carnival Vacation Club membership card. Maybe something else also, I don't know.

They will then direct you to an area (on the dock) on the left side prior to entering the building. When all is clear (everyone is off the ship) they will direct you to the top of the esculator. At the top, make a right hand turn and signs will direct you to VIP check-in.

Listen closely to announcements because the line starts on the other side of the esculator for embarkation. Also in this area is a duty free shop.
