KCTeach Posted October 23, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 23, 2006 Hello, this is our first time to fly overseas and I need some help. I plan on flying to rome 2 days before our cruise leaves on Jun 30th 2007. If I buy the cruise air do I loose the transfers due to not going directly from the airport to the cruise terminal? I know there is something about a 75.00 deviation fee but I don't understand it. What am I getting for booking through Carnival? Thank you for the help. JJPNYC Posted October 23, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 23, 2006 It depends. If you're buying a pre-cruise hotel package through Carnival in Rome, then the transers should still be inlcuded (from the airport to hotel & then hotel to pier). If not, you may want to ask your travel agent or Carnival to explain things a bit more for you. Air deviation usually just refers to special requests (i.e. a more direct routing, preferred airlines, etc.) for the air portion.
