Upgrade Fairy Visited Today

Congratulations! That's very exciting. Which ship? Your luggage is usually divided into two categories: checked bags that are handed over to pier-side porters and your carry-on(s), which should include all your valuables, medications, toiletries, and a change of clothes. I'm not sure about lunch in your room, but I know you can have a pleasant sit-down lunch in one of the main dining rooms. The buffet is also open for lunch on embarkation day.

We'll need to know the ship before we can point you to pictures.

so excited! was offered a upgrade from a AF to a AA today. sailing 12/17/2006. so many questions, does your luggage go on with you when you board? can you have lunch in your room the first day? does any one have pictures?

Was it the upgrade fairy or his cousin the upsell fairy?

Congrats either way

That's great! You're going to love it. There's plenty of info on these boards about the AA's. We were in 9506 twice on the Dawn. There are plenty of pics in the link in my signature. There are also pics of the AA on the Majesty there. I believe they prefer you have your lunch in the dining room or the buffet on the first day since they are busy getting everything ready for the new passengers.

They take your luggage to your room for you except for whatever you want to carry. What ship are you on? Feel free to ask any other questions you may have.

Hi, johnql

We were on the Spirit together this past year. (Feb?). I is nice to talk to you again. We are going on the Pride of Hawaii in Jan. 07, and can't wait as usual. Have you been cruising since our trip? Any plans?

Hi, Arlene. Nice to bump into you again on CC. I sailed on the Dawn back in July (second time for me on the Dawn). Nothing else planned for now, cruisewise. I have a land tour to Thailand/Cambodia in December. The POH? That sounds great! I'm definitely considering one of the Hawaiian cruises.

Did you book that Dawn cruise yet? If not, why don't you come on the Spirit with us on 11/30? There are still balcony staterooms available (sorry, no suites...:( ) and it would be a blast if you came along!! What do you say?? The price sure is right!:D

Hi Peggy,

That sure would be a lot of fun. I would love to try the Spirit, but we also wanted to cruise on the Dawn one more time before she leaves NY. I'll have to talk to Terry about it and see what he thinks. Nothing left for suites on the Dawn either except Mini and the Garden Villa. :(

You guys sure have been busy cruising these days!!! Glad you're having fun.

Jackie
