Brooklin North Posted October 24, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 24, 2006 We're going to be on a southern (Serenade) in November and visit both StT and StM, as well as ANtigua, Barbados and St Lucia, of course we dock in San Juan . Our DD would love to pick up some bags/ wallets ,Coach, Burberry, Dolce Gabanna etc.. Does anyone know of ANY GOOD shops with good prices? Other than on the ship . Thanks, Lori
LDR Posted October 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 25, 2006 There were a couple of shops up on Paradise Point that had knock off purses. San Juan has a Coach store somewhere in the older section of town.
98Charlie Posted October 25, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2006 In St. Thomas if take a shuttle from the dock into town the shuttle will drop you off at a flea market stall area where there are always one or two tents selling tables filled with knock offs. catzcrazy Posted November 3, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2006 I love that flea market - it is so much fun. The best place in the for knock offs is Canal Street in China Town New York - awesome - try it sometime.:)
CaribbeanBlue Posted November 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 14, 2006 There is a shop across from the chocolate store in Philipsburg which offers purses which they say are real but are obviously knockoffs at that price. Nice assortment. Be ready to haggle. They'll give you a price to start but if you ask for a lower price they always come down. Some really great deals there.... gtaylor Posted November 14, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 14, 2006 I think that the shop that CaribbeanBlue is referring to is located on "Old Street". Check the map at the bottom of the above linked page. I have also seen knock-offs sold in the alley between Front Street and the beach over to the right (on the map) either down the alley of the Museum or the next one to the right. gary
