Orlando airport/Cape Canaveral hotel shuttle-best option

We're flying down the day before the cruise and want to stay in a hotel in Cape Canaveral. Does anyone know of a shuttle that will drop us at our hotel while they're dropping passengers at the pier. Hoping for something cheaper than a rental car. We'd take RC transportation back to the airport after the cruise.

You can rent a car for abour $35.00, it's an easy drive. We did it last month. Pick the car up in Orlando Airport, you can walk over from the Baggage area to get the car and then drop it off in Cape Canaveral the next day, then they will shuttle you to the port. Very Easy.

If there's more than one of you, then a rental car is going to be cheaper than a shuttle anyway. I strongly recommend Budget, just used them last Friday, the office in P'Can is CC5, you can pick the car up at MCO and drop it at CC5 when you're ready to go the ship, then they'll shuttle you to the pier. Super easy, super convenient, and they're great people to work with.

The rental car will be by far the cheapest. You can also re-rent for the trip back to MCO and save a lot over the RC transfers. Budget will pick you up at the port, you get your car and are on your way.

Thanks everyone for your replies. We'd always done a rental car, but it was never that cheap. We'll do Budget this time for sure.

Our friends in the band are staring their new contract next week out of CA. No way am I getting DH on an 8 hour plane trip unless there's naked woman handing out free Heinekin, so we'll have to catch them next time.
