Wonder Dining Question

Question about the restaurants on the Wonder. Are all of the tables "shared"? I've only sailed with NCL on Freestyle and have been able to request a table for 2. Which restaurants on the Wonder are like a regular restaurant vs. community seating?

Thanks!

Sharon

Hi Sharon,

To my knowledge only Palo (the additional charge, adults only dining) has tables-for-two. Part of the fun of a Disney cruise is the dining rotation with a different themed dining room/experience each evening (don't miss the first evening you're scheduled for Animator's Palette). Your table-mates and servers follow you each evening for dinner.

We we're hessitant at first about sharing a table with others but found it can be one of the most memorable part of a cruise. I do suggest asking for a "large" table since it increases your odds of sitting with people you find interesting. The only time we didn't enjoy sharing a table was on a two week cruise when we shared a table-for-four with a couple who must have spent most of the cruise in their cabin sucking on pickles (boy, were they ever sour-pusses!).

If your cruise isn't fully booked you may be able to request your own table from the maitre d' when you first board. (1:00-3:30 in the Wave Bands Lounge, 3:00-5:30 dial 7-10891 - this is subject to change, check your "Daily Navigator" when you board)

-Hope this helps,

Terry

Thank you for the help Terry. I'm sure 2 weeks with a couple of miserable people was no fun at all. The couple of times on NCL we took a shared table for breakfast wasn't bad. We did meet some interesting people. We really only have 2 shared dinners since it's a 3 night and we are hoping for Palo the night of Parrot Cay.

Thanks again!!! Much appreciated!

Sharon
