Spender Nui Posted October 28, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2006 Not too soon. Request it right away.
slotaddict Posted October 28, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted October 28, 2006 You know I did already request it. It seemed to me that when I requested it for my Century trip, I had an email confirmation in less than two weeks. It has been about 4 weeks since I requested it and have heard nothing, thats why I asked. I'll wait a little longer than contact the Captains Club. Thanks for the quick response. judyfssw Posted October 28, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 28, 2006 I sent in confirmation information about our RCI stocks and received confirmation on 2 of the 3 cruises. The one in October, 07, was not confirmed. I just figured that it was too far away.
c-legs Posted October 28, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 28, 2006 :) Good evening, This is one area where the now infamously slipping level of customer service has not had an impact. Tried the Shareholders SBC privilege twice, worked FAST. Faxed one day, waited one day, e.mailed asking for confirmation my fax was received and got an e.mail back within few hours that $$$ was already ON MY SHIPBOARD ACCOUNT as a credit. Both times !! If you already have a booking, register your shares by fax and you'll get the SBC very quickly, no matter how far out your sailing date is. Cheers Claude ;)

The one in October, 07, was not confirmed. I just figured that it was too far away. I also received confirmation on the 1st and 3rd of our 3 cruises (for March 2007 and Feb.2008). When I contacted X, was told that the 2nd cruise (Sept. 2007) was a group booking (through our TA) and hadn't yet reached them for accounting. I'll go with that answer for a couple more months and then contact them again. I'm not sure that the answer is plausible, but I'll give X the benefit of the doubt! There is a time consuming process before a group booking is '' parceled out'' , thus allowing the setting up of individual stateroom shipboard account...before which there is no ''address' to park your shareholders benefits SBC. Happy sailings Claude G ;)

m steve Posted October 29, 2006 #11 Share Posted October 29, 2006 before you cruise? I don't plan to but do they have any cross reference since you send them proof of ownership before you cruise.

stuNYC Posted October 29, 2006 #19 Share Posted October 29, 2006 I just booked a cruise today leaving November 7. How much is the credit for a verandah cabin for an 11 cruise. Do I have enough time to get the credit processed.
CruznTom Posted October 30, 2006 #20 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Plenty of time, I got a confirmation within 2 hours of faxing to Linda. Credit is based on number of days only. It is $ 200 for an eleven day cruise.
goofysmom99 Posted October 30, 2006 #21 Share Posted October 30, 2006 I changed travel agents and couldn't remember if I'd sent in the info again, since I had a new booking number. So I called Captain's Club and they confirmed that the credit was posted to my current booking number (meaning I had emailed it but forgotten I'd done it). If you're still concerned if it's there, you can call the Captain's Club to verify - just have your booking number.

Arno. Posted November 16, 2006 #23 Share Posted November 16, 2006 I wonder if this perk is not available on all Celebrity Journey sailings because it is listed under the Xpeditions banner: 5. Can I use the offer each time I sail? Yes, you may request this offer multiple times- as often as you sail on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruises (Excludes Celebrity Xpeditions). I was going to email RCL but it may be faster getting an answer here. THANKS!!! If your cruise isn't 'til next September, any time prior to sailing would be fine to purchase shares - allowing enough time for the information to be registered at RCCL. The requirement - at the moment - is that the cruise be booked by May 1, 2007. Happily, for some of us, the shares are at a pretty high value at the moment:D:D over $43. You will get following OBC: $50 for sailings of 5 nights or less, $200 6-8 nights, $200 9-13 nights, $250 14 or more nights. To get the OBC you need to provide your name, address, confirmation number (cruise booking), ship and sailing date along with a copy of the shareholder proxy card or a current brokerage statement showing proof of share ownership. SheilaNC Posted November 17, 2006 #25 Share Posted November 17, 2006 I think there is a typo in Sharon's message - it's $100 for cruises of 6-8 nights :)
