Went to Sunny Liston tour website for St. Thomas and he had a link to St. Martin. Said he had tours there just like St. THomas with reliable drivers. Tour takes you to both sides and ends up at Orient Beach. You also stop at the beach that you can see the planes....all for 25.00 pp. Has anyone done this? Looking for a good tour but want to end up at Orient beach!! Thanks!!!

I did this last week on Nagivator. I booked Sunny online from his web site and he asked if I wanted St Martin as well. I replied yes, and he booked me with a Victor Bryan. I met Victor in St Martin, on time and it turned out to be Bernards Tours...Bernard supposedly is Victor's brother. Bernard did a good job but couple things to note.

1) Bernard did not care to stop for long at Maho to watch planes as the traffic back to town would be bad. He did do it, and like he said the traffic was bad going back. The thing is you have to put up with the traffic if you want to see planes as they arrive in greater numbers in the afternoon, and thats when the traffic gets bad. Bernard would have preferred to do Maho first but then you run the risk of not seeing any planes.

2) He gave us only 1 1/2 hours at Orient, again because he wanted to get a jump on the traffic knowing we still had stops in Marigot and Maho. We stopped close to the nude section and enjoyed it a lot. The beach for swimming is not as nice as St.Thomas

As for Sunny personally go for it. He and his wife did an excellent job and I would go with them again in a heart beat. He gave 2+ hours at the beach and we never got the sense of being rushed.

Sunny Liston Tours is based out of St.Thomas and this guy cannot coordinate a good tour in St.Martin for you. He can recommend someone for you in St.Martin but there is no guarantee that you will get your money worth. From experience, it is much better to contact one of the guys from St.Martin and request a itinary from them for the day.

I would highly recommend Bernard because I had a awesome trip with him a month ago. He is very articulate and his tour is very informative and exciting

We also took the tour with Victor/Bernard a couple of weeks ago on the Caribbean Princess. We paid $30.00pp. We didn't stop in Margiot to shop. We stayed to watch the planes come in at Maho for an hour. The traffic was bad, but he used a lot of side roads and we had lots of time to spare to shop before we went back to the ship.

We did more than alot of people. It was money well spent.

Just don't expect the tour to be as WILD as Sunny's!!!
