There is normally a small fee involved. You should contact whomever you booked through and ask the procedures and fees involved and what their deadline is for making the change. Her name is misspelled on her birth certificate. Our TA took care of it with no charge at all. :D Now her cruise documents have the wrong name also.
Cotton Posted October 30, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Donna, if the name on her docs and her photo ID is the same, no prob. MaddySammy - The name change after final payment, which obviously you're in, is $50. (Prior to final payment, no charge.) You'd better check on that "last minute" timeframe, however. The ship's manifest has to be turned in 48 hrs. before sailing.
D4 Posted October 31, 2006 #7 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Some TAs have their own set of charges on top of Carnival's fees.
Mysticks1 Posted October 31, 2006 #8 Share Posted October 31, 2006 Donna, if the name on her docs and her photo ID is the same, no prob. Cotton, I thought that would have been correct also but the TA spoke with Carnival and were told that it would be better if the name matched the birth certificate when told what the two id items said. There is a pretty big difference in the two names, not just a misspelling. It actually seems to be a completely different name.
