bunyababy Posted October 30, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2006 :) I am wondering if any of you out there have ever ordered flower arrangements from the bon voyage department at carnival? I would really like to see some pics of either the standard flower arrangement or even better yet the superior floral arrangement. I love the idea of having fresh flowers in my stateroom, and have been told that I cannot bring them on ship. (understandable! :D ) I would rather order an arrangement ...instead of a dozen roses, but I prefer to see them first or get some advice from those who have!! "DUNKA" all around!! Stircrzy Posted October 30, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 30, 2006 Connie, I'll go dig through my photos and post some for you if I can find them. I *always* purchase an arrangement of flowers for my stateroom from Carnival and have never been disappointed.
CruiseIsGood Posted October 30, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2006 I just have pictures of their roses (yellow and red). They were lovely and lasted the whole 7 days. http://travel.webshots.com/album/349475831RKwETl

sea_u_onboard Posted October 31, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 31, 2006 .... I love the idea of having fresh flowers in my stateroom, and have been told that I cannot bring them on ship. Who said? I've taken fresh flowers onboard - just can't take them off (or the ones you buy either). We USUALLY drive to port (except this next one - Alaska) and I pick fresh flowers up from a local grocery store before boarding. I have a plastic vase that looks like glass, Works great. Last cruise I opted not to take them BUT DH bought flowers because it was my birthday. They were VERY nice and lasted all week. Don't know what SIZE they were considered. Timmys_mom Posted November 1, 2006 #8 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Question....if you purchase flowers through Carnival, can you take them off the ship at the end of the cruise???No. You have to leave them behind. As I got off the Conquest, there was a pile of flowers by the gangway leading off the ship.
ala-kat Posted November 1, 2006 #9 Share Posted November 1, 2006 Have ordered the superior arrangement and it was as pictured on their web page - Birds of Paradise, orchids and other stuff I don't know about. Very nice. Can't speak for other ports, but we were allowed to bring them off the ship in Mobile, after a good customs check.
Smiling Cruiser Posted November 1, 2006 #10 Share Posted November 1, 2006 I was told to take them off the ship by the crew and carried them through customs with no problem. We boarded in Florida and debarked if Florida. Getting them home on the plane was a little tricky. (Probably could not carry them on board now.) Those flowers lasted two weeks.:)
