mikeythemars Posted November 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2006 I realize it will vary by exact location in the Bahamas, but can anyone with knowledge or experience give me a sense of what to expect at Great Stirrup Cay (the NCL private island at the northern end of the Bahamas chain) for our cruise next February? Will it likely be on the "cool side" of swimable, and if so, how much so?
Bahamaskimmer Posted November 1, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2006 SSTs vary from mid to high 70s in febuary. All depends on Frontal passages. I Live here and i still go into the water in Febuary so its not that bad :D

As a certified diver, I know that water temperature drops as you go deeper, so that info didn't really help in terms of getting an idea of water temperature at the surface. But your post did - thanks!!!!;)
