JamesFic Posted November 2, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 2, 2006 We are booked on the Splendor of the Seas cabin7628 for the Feb 10, 2008 South American cruise. Does anyone have pictures of this type of cabin - we are particularly interested in the balcony; ie. total area, visibility, privacy, etc.
FitzLA Posted November 2, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 2, 2006 You can find aft pics of webshots for splendour of the seas. Here is the link. http://www.webshots.com/search?query=splendour+of+the+seas+aft+cabin&new=1&source=chromeheader
Rare kernow Posted November 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 2, 2006 We had aft cabin 8082(js) on Splendour last week, it was fantastic, our first aft and we're spoiled forever. The only difference with your balcony is that it is slightly narrower(2 panels instead of 3), the depth is the same and it is huge! We didn't once sit out by the pool but lounged on the balcony instead. No one can see you unless you are standing right at the front against the rail, or your neighbours crane their heads around the side panel(like any balcony). The view is great, there is nothing in front of you but the sea. The wall between the cabin and balcony is floor to ceiling glass so if you draw the curtains back in the day the cabin is really big and bright. We too are looking at the South American cruises in March 2008, but at the moment the prices are very high in the UK. Julie
