friend of Eeyore Posted November 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Also, does anyone know how to get an automatic signature line. If you're talking about here on Cruise Critic, here's how: Go to the top of the screen and click on "user CP". That's the user control panel. Then, on the left of that screen, click on "edit signature". There, you can put whatever you want to put, including personalized signatures and cruise tickers. Those, however, I have no clue - I haven't had success. You might have more success posting or searching on this board: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=
friend of Eeyore Posted November 3, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 3, 2006 click on User CP, then User Signature Whoops! I took so long to write mine that you got there first! Should have learned: short and succinct! Or: the early bird (post) gets the worm!

Host Kat Posted November 3, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Also, does anyone know how to get an automatic signature line. Howdy, EGG! Per one of the Mod screens, it appears you need to change some of your options. Once you do, everything should be OK. You have your Display Signatures, Display Avatars and Display Images settings as NO. Also, you have your Message Editor Interface set as Do Not Show Editor Toolbar. To change your options: Click on User CP or Quick Links in the blue bar above Click on Edit Options Scroll down to Thread Display Options and the Visible Post Elements section Change your setting on the Show Signatures line (you might want to turn on Show Avatars and Show Images too) Scroll down to Miscellaneous Options and the Message Editor Interface section Change your setting to Enhanced Interface - Full WYSIWYG Editing Click Save Changes button To put information in your signature: Click on User CP or Quick Links in the blue bar above Click on Edit Signature Type or paste the information into the box To check it out, click the Preview Signature button If OK, click the Save Signature button The next time you click the New Thread, Post Reply or Quote buttons, you should see all sorts of goodies in the frame of your Message box you can use on a post or your signature. With your mouse, you can slowly move your cursor over the symbols and most will show you a small box naming the function. You will find things such as fonts, size and color of print, smilies, Spell Check and many more. Oh, and if you use the Quick Reply box, you will not have as many goodies as the other three buttons mentioned above. And as a friendly reminder to all that read this thread, click here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/annou...php?f=163&a=58 for a previous Announcement from LauraS concerning the size of our signatures. Also if anyone feels the need to test their signature, countdown clock or ticker, avatar, picture attachment, etc., click here http://boards.cruisecritic.com/forumdisplay.php?f=225 to use the Test Forum. I sincerely hope this information will be satisfactory to all! If anyone has any other questions about the Cruise Critic software, stop by the Need Help Using The Boards? Ask Here! Forum. Please use the Search this Forum feature there with your key word or words to see if inquiries regarding your subject have already been made and answered before. , they probably have, many times!
