Irish_Jewel5 Posted November 3, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 3, 2006 I was just reviewing some pictures, a fellow cruiser posting all their food pictures. During the review , this person referenced " my first appetizer" my second appetizer which i had after the shrimp, " my third appetizer" etc. I was thinking, if yoy pay the $25 or $30 to eat in these specialty restaurants, you choose one appetizer, one salad , one entree, one dessert, but seems maybe you're choices are unlimited, meaning if you want more than one, order more than one. Not sure that I would or even could eat like that, but curiousity kicking in, just what if I couldnt choose.. Anyone have any info on this? Thanks
big_duck Posted November 3, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Generally it is just one of each, however one of our party was allowed to substiute their salad. They usually also bring something "compliments of the Chef".
florida cruiser girl Posted November 3, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 3, 2006 How much is it to eat at Scarlett's? I was wondering about that and I am guessing from the previos post, you get several courses for the money? Reviews? Worth the extra? Is it more intimate dining?? Thanks! On the Valor its 30.00pp, Yes its a very romantic atmosphere, its great to go on a Tuesday night because they serve up French night in the Regular Dinning room, that night the food isnt as good so Scarletts becomes the perfect choice. They serve up lots of food so be ready to eat. Fred
serene56 Posted November 3, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Sure the food is good in the dining room (and already paid for) but the ambiance in the supper clubs are well worth the 30 bucks pp. I was not able to get seconds on anything on the two ships we tried the supper clubs. (miracle & Liberty) Its gonna depend on the server. (and who is in the dining room. Menu is fleetwide--

florida cruiser girl Posted November 3, 2006 #8 Share Posted November 3, 2006 Thanks so much, you have all been very helpful! Menus and all!...talk about being prepared. I love it! I am assuming that reservations are required? If so, how early do we make them? Thanks again, really appreciate it! Mt fiancee thinks I'm nuts with all my planning and preparing excursions, etc. He's never been so organized!! Haha!:D
serene56 Posted November 4, 2006 #9 Share Posted November 4, 2006 if you know when you want to dine in the supper club make the reservattions as soon as you board. There will be a hostess in the atrium. Or you can call once you get to the cabin. But going early directly to the supper club you can see what table you may want. Last cruise we went with a supper club-- all reservations were gone by 4pm on the day we left. Wait listed all week too. the one before had reservations all week available. So its hard to tell from one week to the next.

From talking to staff in the Supper Clubs its very rare for them to be fully booked every night.

From talking to staff in the Supper Clubs its very rare for them to be fully booked every night. I only tried the supper clubs twice.. Once was for a valentines week and the other was during the last week in Oct/begining of Sept - both weeks were sold out. There is only 100 seats available each night- witht he first reservation taken for 6pm and last one taken at 10pm. (do people really eat that late?) I know we had 6pm both times-- but the first time the only people there were the captain and his crew at one table and the pursers desk at the other table. Why the other tables were empty i have no idea but had friends who were waitlisted for the week.
