iluvdoxies Posted November 5, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Woke up to beautiful sunny weather---had some breakfast, then headed to catch the tender--they are huge. HMC is simply wonderful. They bring a lot of crew over and serve a BBQ lunch. drinks go on your sign and sail card. We kust chilled out and didnt do any water toys- so dont know the price on those. The water was sooo clear. Lunch was delisch as well as our drinks--Roger, one of our fav bartenders was there and he poured with a heavy hand lol. We spent about 70.00 there and were there a good long time. The caylipso band from the ship was also there and they are great--Total Eclipse. Back to the ship and time for the past guest party- the capt was really funny. We ate at the Lido deck that night---turkey and all the trimmings. Went to the casino and ended up entering the slot tournament (first time) John ended up winning wooohooo $500.00 ! Next day was Nassau and we just stayed on the ship and looks like a lot of other people did too1 Nice relaxing day- played trivia and won a ship on a stick. We were going to stay up late, but made it an early night- Got a letter from the purser's office to meet at he atrium bar at 10am the next mornining since we were doing a b2b and that's when things went downhill fast. We had the same cabin so no packing to do. Stay tuned !
seashell36 Posted November 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 5, 2006 Glad to see you survived the B2B! I was in the casino during the slots tourney that night. The stuff going on over in that corner was hilarious! It seems to be a general concensus that any of us on that cruise would go back to HMC in a heartbeat. I was bummed to hear that they are moving the Elation to the west coast, was hoping to do that iten again!

She said that they are probably going to keep the itinerary and just replace her with a sister ship. I'm keeping my fingers crossed! I would love to experience Half Moon Cay!
