On Carnival? Most of the obstructed balconies are obstructed only below the balcony, but a few of the cabins have one of the taller lifeboats that comes up to the top of the railing. Which cabin(s) can you choose from? I think its about cabin 5167 and forward that have the taller boats.

Its always hard to put value into prospective. To me it would be well

worth the money not have an obstruction, I love the view, out, forward,

aft, up and down. If as cherylandtj said, if your view is only blocked

below your balcony then you may enjoy the view and same some money.

Check the cc board for rooms! You might get some idea of how obstructed. Check the ship plans and pictures - you might be able to tell from that. I have family that has gotten great views on "obstructed" cabins and had no problem with the view.:)
