How does Crown Princess hand out beach towels?

In addition to the bathroom towels, you'll find enough blue striped beach towels on a shelf in your cabin for each person staying in the cabin. You can use them to go to the pool, to take off the ship to the beach, etc. However, if you take a towel, you need to return it to your cabin, i.e., you cannot leave it by the pool or on a lounger. If you want more towels or replacements, just ask your steward.

Last week everyday on the Crown we saw lots of towels left by the pool and on chairs in the aft adult pool. We also saw room towels left around. I would assume they were giving out extra towles to those people who left them because the crew keep picking up the towels and taking them and I never heard anyone complaining about not having a towel.

We are just back from the Dawn and in addition to the two striped towels in our stateroom there were clean towels available in the pool area. We forgot to take a towel to the pool one day and, no problem, just picked one up when we got there.

If you want more than one striped towel per person just tell your cabin steward and he/she will happily get you the quantity you request. I was on the Crown two weeks ago and we had no problem with that. (Nor did they on the Grand, Golden or Caribbean.)

In contrast to RC, Princess (at least on the CB) does not try to account for beach towels - as evidenced by the bin for used towels when returning to the ship from ports - they don't do an exchange, you just get a new one later.

They didn't have the bins on the Crown last week, we were commenting on that very thing as we boarded.
