Good Morning Fellow Cruisers:)

Well, it is always good to start out a cruise knowing your "Ship has Come In"

While the camera picture is blurry she is still in San Diego. I watched her pull in.

Well, as the song goes "Our bags are packed, were ready to go...."

We are off to the airport:D

Have a wonderful, wonderful cruise. I'll be watching for your wave. I love that San Diego webcam. FYI Freeds does deliver carrot cake. $29.95 for the cake and $45 for delivery. I think I'll pass on that one. Thanks for your help anyway. I'll just make a travel size cake she can take with her.

Good Afternoon from the beautiful MS Zaandam, flight went perfect. Just when you think you know exctly what they are doing for embarkation in San Diego they change it totally but it really went smoothly. I will explain leter when I write up a report tonight off line. The big thing that was different than all other HAL cruises is there are so many passengers wearing those big mariner buttons. We thought this was really strange so unless that is the new thing to do or there are just a whole bunch of cruisers that this is the second HAL cruise:D

Lido lunch was great, walked around the ship, have not found those Big yellow lips yet:p No champagne yet but did have a margarita at the Lido Pool. It is a gorgeous very warm day here in SD. So far we are find a lot of differences between the S class and the R class but I do really like the spread out lay out of this ship.

We were one of the first to board right at 11:30 and we did have the white gloce service, they took us up to the Neptune and carried our bags. Melody in the Neptune greeted us by name. We made all our reservations with her right away, then placed our bags in our room which was just across the hall then headed up to the Lido for lunch.

Well better sign off for right now, I want to unpack some before we do the 3 o'clock wave.

Signing off from the beautiful MS Zaandam

It is going to be a Great 10 Days:D

... have not found those Big yellow lips yet:p

They're hard to miss, Lisa! Really, really hard. Now find the sax signed by Bill Clinton---that's a little tougher. The music theme is carried out well everywhere. (Check the panels along the walls on the passenger decks.)

Thanks for checking in---almost time to wave backatcha! Have a good time on a ship I really enjoyed.

Have a wonderful cruise on the Zaandam eventhough I am a litle green with envy. I will look forward to your updates. Reading these makes me feel like a part of me is on board with you (living out my dreams)! I so looked forward each day to the VOYAGE of the SPAMMED and can't wait to read yours.

Have fun.... hope the weather is great for you... and the seas not too rough!
