Elsea Posted November 16, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2006 We have booked 2 Junior suites for cruise in February 2007. I would love to hear comments from anyone who has cruised in 9294 or 9594. We have never sailed RCI before is there anything that I should know? Are there any advantages to booking a Junior Suite?

Don't have any info on those cabins, but we were in 9238 and 9240, both Junior Suites. The major advantages are they are larger, the balcony is larger and you get two cruise credits. The Junior Suites on the Explorer are some of the nicest we have stayed in. There is a lot of room and lots of storage. You have a tub/shower in the bathroom. Bathroom was little smaller than I expected for a suite, but still very nice. I would take a suite over a regular balcony cabin anytime. It's worth it for the space. Hope that helps. We just got back on Sunday and I have some great pictures of our junior suite. I will try to post them soon. Wendy

The junior suites on the Voyager Class are an excellent choice. Click my link below. There is an Explorer album showing the JS I stayed in. cb at sea Posted November 17, 2006 #5 Share Posted November 17, 2006 The photos in the cruise brochures show a JS--that's about what it looks like!!! We won't cruise at all unless we book a JS--it's the closest thing to a regular hotel-style room. Lots of storage--huge closet and good size bath. You'll love it. The advantages, aside from the space, are the 2 cruise credits you get. Concierge service is not included in a JS, unless they've recently changed policy! But, no matter--you won't miss it or need it! Enjoy!
