There is only one coupon that we just used on our recent Spirit cruise which ended on Sunday. We did use the buy one get one for the first embarkation dinner at cagneys which was a good deal. We were rudely told by the Manager at the photo center that we could not use the portriat ones, ie the free folio with 3 8 x 10s. My mother and I spent 150.00 and because they offer a free picture with 3 8x10s we were told the coupon could not be used with this special, yet every coupon other than the photo ones stated " Can not be combined with other offers or specials". NCL would rather lose future business than give us a lousey 19.95 folio. This really angered us, it is the not that we really wanted the free folio but it would of been a nice reminder of the trip, it is the principle. They offer these coupons and then they do not accept them. I am going to write to NCL to see if we can get an answer, but don't expect any cooperation. This was my first NCL cruise and probably my last, not a fan of freestyle. Service in dining rooms was so so and usually took 2 hours to eat, to long when you have 2 children. Just my two cents. I would have to agree with you here. The only thing we used was the Buy 2 drinks get 1 free coupon. The others were not worth it. As said above the photo one is silly, the Spa one was a joke because part way through the cruise they offered 50% off anyway (which was cheaper than the coupon). The dinner coupon wasn't bad. We found that we could not use the coupons up front (ie. when purchasing goods/food), you had to bring them all to the purser's desk the night before disemarkation to obtain your credits - a hassle if you ask me.
