clerky96 Posted November 20, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 20, 2006 I've been watching this thread all week. It is fantastic! Especially if you are going to be cruising this same itinerary like we are doing in Feb!:D

Tarheelbelle Posted November 20, 2006 #6 Share Posted November 20, 2006 Thanks. I tried that on a couple of the days, but there was so little I thought I was missing something. Now I see there was more on the Belize site, etc.

nolaAlive Posted November 21, 2006 Author #8 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Thanks. Added menus from the main dining rooms; still have a few from specialty restaurants to add. They looks amazingly similar to the NCL Dawn menus. Did some clean up, more needed. And some more pictures and I guess a summary yet to come... http://www.zydecocruiser.com/ncl_sun_2006/menus/menus.htm
Zeno Posted November 21, 2006 #9 Share Posted November 21, 2006 If these are the "new" menus - I thought they looked GREAT!
cassie225 Posted November 21, 2006 #10 Share Posted November 21, 2006 With those offers on the menu in the main.I am having a hard time choosing what nights to go to the specialities. How often did you eat in the main restaurants? What did you find were the best tasting foods. Your pictures are great. Can't wait for your review of this cruise. We will be on 12/17/2006. Looks like there is a chilled soup offering every night. Some say they taste like ice cream.
Globaliser Posted November 21, 2006 #11 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Quick question for nolaAlive: Can you remember who the cruise director was? Thanks!
ontario Posted November 21, 2006 #12 Share Posted November 21, 2006 Thanks NolaAlive! Do they still offer the "always available" choices? My BIL is pretty picky but plain steak and potatoes will please him every time.
nolaAlive Posted November 22, 2006 Author #13 Share Posted November 22, 2006 Don't know about the always available options, sorry. But I would think so. It really isn't much effort to toss a steak on a grill. Cruise director was listed as Darin Wyman. I only ate in one of the main restaurants on Monday night and thought the lobster was wonderful. Also larger than typical cruise ship lobsters, I thought. The menus were current as of Nov 12 sailing and are in agreement with the "new" menus posted for the Dawn.
