45 day letter

Can't find any posts about this, but know it has been posted. Who do you address it to ?

You don't send a 45 day letter, you receive one.. I'm confused about the question. Do you have one that you want to redeem? If so, you call the number on the letter... if you want to receive one, well... don't count on it, they do send them out sometimes, but definitely not all the time. When I have gotten them, I have gotten them after sending a letter about my last cruise (I always send a detailed review to guest relations within 2 weeks of my last cruise, in addition to filling out the comment card) but I haven't gotten one every time. If you are wanting to send a letter about your cruise, send it to guest relations... you can do a search on "guest relations" and the addy has been posted here many times. Good luck.

BTW, next question by some is going to be "what do you get?"... not much, so don't send a letter just to "get something"... typical is a bottle of wine, some chocolates, etc. $15 at best... But if you have more detail to give and couldn't include it all in your survey, by all means, let guest relations know!! :D

After my cruise last year and after I booked my current cruise, I emailed Carnival (from their website) telling them about my wonderful cruise experiences. About a month or so later by snail mail, I received a nice letter from Carnival telling me to call them 45 days before my next cruise to receive a nice thank you gift. I did call and I was able to choose from a varity of items that would be waiting for me in our cabin. I chose the bar credits.

What are you guys talking about???? after our july cruise we filled out the comment cards (each one of (5 in all) did). it was the first time we ever did it (too lazy in the past, i guess, or maybe just too wiped from all of the fun;) ).

anyway, my 5 yr old was bummed b/c they wld not let him go down the slide on the FANTASY which was sooo much smaller than the slide on the VICTORY which he had no problem going down, (he hadn't gone down the slides on our other cruises b/4 that b/c he was too small). apparently they raised the height limit to over 4 ft.

he expressed his displeasure;) about this and he received a letter stating to call the bon voyage dept x amount of days b/4 our next cruise (which is in feb) so they cld deliver a complimentary gift to his stateroom. Is this the 45 day letter???

Sounds like it...

BTW, there are different height limits on different ships. Fantasy is 48", Victory is 42"... the slides are designed differently.

i just don't get this. the fantasy class slides are tiny compared to the other classes of ships.Wait -- (the lightbulb just turned on). maybe it's because the fantsy class ships the slides dump you into the pool. with other ships, you end at the bottom of the slide. i bet that has something to do with it.

Careful, truecruiser.... electricity and water slides are never a good mix. LOL.

Actually, I'm thinking your idea is perfect reasoning, and I wouldn't have come up with it myself.
