Lyne Stokke Brynstad is the Godmother of the Legend. As a Trivia player, I should also know who the Godmother of the Spirit is. Are you fishing for Trivia answers Matt? :D

Well, jusrt because her picture is in the lobby (or wherever it is) doesn't mean a lot. WE all know that it's our Martita who is the real Godmother of the Pride.

No holds barred.

Jane,

Thanks for the nice compliment......but I think I'm just "The Pride's Fairy Godmother"

Shirley Temple Black, the Pride; Spirit, AAgot Brynestad (Mother of owner, Atle Brynestad) and the Legend was christened by Linn

Brynestad (wife of Atle)

Brynestad is now co-owner of the Sea Dream Yacht Club.

Martita

Thanks for keeping it "real" Martita.

Why is Aagot Brynestad listed on Seabourn's site under ship facts as Seabourn Legend's Godmother? If that's an error, it's probably been there for some time. :)

As for the larger ships, Odyssey has no godmother. All the passengers who sailed on her maiden voyage are her godparents. Twiggy is the godmother of the Sojourn. Can't recall who the Quest's godmother is.

Quest is Blythe Danner, the classy actress in (inter alia) "Great Santini" and mother of Gwyneth Paltrow.
