mrscruisequeen Posted November 29, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 29, 2006 Hi All...we will be in Aruba on the Crown Princess on Jan. 8, and were thinking about renting a Harley for a guided tour round the island, but not the tour offered by Princess. Has anyone out there done this? Does anyone know how far the Harley shop is from the cruise dock, and what is the best way to get there. Thanks..Jeanne & Ed

makefitz Posted December 1, 2006 #3 Share Posted December 1, 2006 hi jeanne and ed ....we are thinking of doing this too when we are in aruba jan 24 ....you have probably checked out big twin harley davidson at www.harleydavidson-aruba.com ....they are located on l.g. smith blvd , that's the main road at the pier ....the web site says l.g.smith blvd connects downtown with the hotels and is only 5 minutes from downtown ...i'm wondering if it's walkable from the pier ....sarah from big twin would be happy to answer your questions i'm sure ....she has been great answering my questions, this motorcycle tour looks fabulous ....have fun ...m

PhillyTom Posted December 5, 2006 #5 Share Posted December 5, 2006 I was in Aruba back in August with several family members. There is a Harley dealership about 10 minutes by car from where the cruise ship docks. It's right on the main drag. My brother signed up for the Harley tour. The dealership rents you a bike and the tour guide takes a group of you around the island. It's about a four hour tour. I think the cost was approx. $100.00 + My brother liked the tour very much. Not sure if they do this tour every day. I think it was only done twice a week.
