Los Escobas Waterfalls

We are thinking of doing this excursion on our Sun cruise in Feb. I have some knee problems...does anyone know how far you walk before you get to the falls and how difficult ( or perhaps not) the terrain is? Any input would be greatly appreciated...thanks..Emmy

It is a bit of a hike, although the paths are well developed. A few people seemed to get a little winded. Getting to the falls seemed more difficult than returning, so I suppose that was the more uphill portion. There are some places to sit along the way, but I don't know that they can wait for someone. We spent some time at two sets of falls, perhaps 20-30 minutes at the second set, so there is time to rest then.

 

I was surprised to see a lady at the falls who I knew had knee problems, so I guess it depends to some extent on determination.

Thanks for the information...the pictures were great and they gave me some idea of what the path to the falls would be like.. I feel certain I can make it..especially since you said that someone you know, who also has knee problems, was at the falls..makes me more determined to go ;)
