lmondrop Posted December 13, 2006 #2 Share Posted December 13, 2006 do any locals know of a mac cosmetics store near the port? I looked on their website but there seems so many Im confused with all the different addresses  The closest MAC counter to the port would be at Village of merrick Place in Coral gables inside of the Nordstrom. Call Nordstrom and ask for the MAC counter to make an appointment. beware they are all booked every Saturday until the end of the year.... If you do go ask for Priscilla to do your make-up. She did mine last week and it came out AWESOME!! She's my favorite. I have pictures if you want to see...

Just take a cab shouldn't be a problem at all...Miami is being revamped big time a bit of gentrification is going on.....
Madkitty Posted December 13, 2006 Author #5 Share Posted December 13, 2006 we're staying at the intercontinental - it seems like it might be within walking distance but do you think it would be safer to get a cab?

I think you'd be better off taking a cab...its not as dangerous as Downtown used to be now that all of these changes are being done....but it is bit of a walk...about 6 blocks away....
