Time to board ship

Recommended Posts

Does anybody know, if you book Princess' air, what time you arrive in Papeete (generally speaking). And then what time (how long after arrival) can you board the ship. I understand you are on the ship overnight before it leaves Tahitit if you do the Cook Island itinerary. And the same question applies to after the cruise; what time do you have to be off the ship and what time is the flight back to LA?

I believe that the Princess flights arrive in Papeete around 7:30 pm. I can't tell you for sure, but it doesn't take long to go through customs and get to the ship, so I would think that youwould be on by 8:30 or 9.

When we were on the T.P. in March, the passengers flying back to the U.S. were able to stay on board until their bus left for the airport around 7.30pm. In other words, you have the whole day on board (giving you the day you missed when you arrived).

It means that there are two groups of passengers on board. The newies who have boarded from 11.30am that day and the oldies who are about to leave for the airport. The first night we were on board there had been a flight delay and the poor people who leaving to go back to the U.S. didn't leave until around 11.30pm. They were exhausted.
