Miami Hotels

I have been on the internet looking for a Miami hotel to stay at for one night pre-cruise. Most of the hotels I see are very expensive. Does anybody have any ideas on a descent hotel we can stay at for one night for a family that is on a budget. It doesnt have to be all glitz and glamorous, but on the other hand not a hole in the wall either. I thank you in advance

Holiday Inn at the Miami Downtown, is reasonable. It is right across from Bayside markey, and 5 minutes to the port. They do give discounts for certain poeple, such as gov. employees!

Hi,

Holiday Inn Port of Miami/Marina Park is the closest hotel to the piers. It is directly across from the famous Bayside Marketplace that has many restaurants and shops for a nice place to spend some time.

It is a reasonable hotel that is kept clean and neat. No beach though, just a pool.

I have stayed there before and as recently as September. It fills up fast, so don't wait too long to book if you are interested.;) I paid $219.72 total for 2 nights in September.

Thanks a lot. I am going to look into staying at the Holiday Inn Downtown. It seems like a great place and not to much money. Once again thanks for the replies.

Check the Hyatt Miami too - it was cheaper than the Holiday Inn.
