DVDs on Mercury

Can anyone tell me if the Mercury has DVDs available to rent or borrow and do the suites have DVD players in them? We are going on the 2/18 Panama Canal Cruise and would like to watch some movies in our cabin if possible.

From what I've gathered, they only have VCR's in the cabins. I think you can borrow tapes from the library...

Just back from Mercury, we had a Sky Suite, and they only have VCR's at this time. They do offer pay pre-view movies, besides tape rentals.

Portable DVD players with the LCD screens are pretty cheap now... you could buy or borrow one of those and bring it.

The MERCURY has VHS tape machines.

At the Pursers desk they have movies you can check out free.

I even took some of mine I had and, wanted to look at since I would

have the time. Then, I donated them to the ship.

I know if you watch "APOLLO 13" you are watching one of mine ;)

Thanks for the info everyone. I think I will bring some of my VHS tapes if I have room in my suitcases.:)
