Private tour to Cayo Lavento???

Just found out our ship (NCL Dawn) has made a last minute change and instead of visiting the private island (and therefore free beach) we are stopping in Samana. NCL wants $29.00 per person, $116.00 to take my family to the beach. This price includes the boat and use of a chair. Seems like a lot.

 

Does anybody have info about getting over to Cayo Lavento on a private tour, water taxi or ferry?
