I cannot find transportation from cruise ship to our hotel in FL. The companies

I've contacted are wanting to send limos for a big dollar - any ideas?

Metered taxis run $75-$85 depending on traffic.

We used Larry's Limo Service from the Port of Miami to Ft. Lauderdale airport. (We actually used them round trip). The one way cost was approximate $80. While it is called Limo Service, we were in a town car for the two of us. Plenty of room for our luggage in the back.
