Hi there, my husband and I will be on the Crown early next year and would love to know what are the best Princess Excursions in Bonaire. We prefer to do ship sponsored excursions and are pretty laid back, nothing too crazy or nutty, LOL. Any help would be great. Much appreciated.:D

If you snorkel you can't go wrong with the Sea Cow two snorkel tour. We did it in March and we would not hesitate to do it again. The staff was very good, and the snorkeling was fantastic.

If you like the beach and snorkeling you can easily do this on your own. There are beach every couple hundred feet. We were told about a resort that allows you to pay to use there facilities and beach. It is only 15 minutes up the road by foot. You just come off the ship and turn right. You then just walk straight until you get to a parking lot with a gate in the right hand corner and your there. I think it was paradise beach resort. There is a coral reef that runs almost the whole length of the beach and is great for snorkeling. I would suggest renting the snorkeling gear from the ship or bring your own as it can be expensive to rent from the resort and they run out fast.

You said you enjoyed the SeaCow excursion. I was checking it out and it says "strenous"? and only for those with snorkel experience. We have snorked about 5 times and are good swimmers, but are 61. What do they mean by stenuous?

Their lawyers make them say that.

It's a boat snorkel which isn't usually good for first timers. Your five is plenty.

As to strenuous: I'm 72 and haven't had a problem, yet. :)

Here's their web site.
