brunolvr Posted August 11, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 11, 2004 Just wondering what you would do different on your "next" Alaska cruise? Or, was everything so perfect that you wouldn't change a thing.
Happy ks Posted August 11, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 11, 2004 When we get back from our first Alaska cruise!
kitsy Posted August 11, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 11, 2004 We've been 3 times and we do something different in each port each time. That's the nice thing about all of the different things to do in Alaska. Our priority is seeing wildlife, so I try to choose tours that include wildlife watching. churee Posted August 11, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 11, 2004 I wouldn't change one thing. I have only wonderful things to say about Celebrity ( A+++++). (We went on the land excursion for 4 days then Summit southbound). The only thing I would do differently is to bring less clothing. I packed for every possible variable, and wound up shipping clothes home from a "Mailbox in Ketchikan". Please do a favor for yourself and don't do as I did. grouchy Posted August 11, 2004 #5 Share Posted August 11, 2004 clothes! I would spend the money and go land on a glacier. I would get more Northern Light Candles. I would dance more and have that last glass of wine!
natesfirewife Posted August 11, 2004 #6 Share Posted August 11, 2004 The first thing I would change would be that we wouldn't get off the ship! LOL. But for reals, I would like to spend more time in Juneau and Ketchikan. Misty
Genessa Posted August 12, 2004 #7 Share Posted August 12, 2004 I wouldn't do a thing different on a cruise. We took the Coral SB last year and we had a wonderful time despite not getting to do the dog sledding. I would do the land portion a little differently. Not because I didn't fully appreciate our land tour with Princess, but because now I would like to spend some time on the Kenai peninsula.
