SEE THE DOG SLEDS WITHOUT THE RIDE

Is there any place around Ketchikan that you can
see Dog Sleds without actually having to take the Dog Sled Tour? We would like to just go and
see the Sleds/Dogs and somewhere I read that you
can do with on sleds with rubber wheels but cannot seem to find it now.

In Scagway there is a wheeled dog-sled tour. You ride on a sled and then can play with the puppies afterward. The web site is alaskasleddogs.com (dog may be singular).

I have read that they have the dogs(and probably the sleds as well) near the entrance of Denali National Park if you are going up there before or after your cruise!

Yes, in Ketchikan there was a storefront with the dogs and sleds. Just ask once you get there and someone will point you in the right direction. The town of Ketchikan is very walkable.
