mpk Posted May 8, 2004 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2004 Are there any kid friendly fishing trips? By kid friendly, I mean like an hour or two maybe. It seems like most of the fishing excursions are for "grown ups", for four to six hours. I guess it isn't cost effective for a boat company to do a short trip. Is there any other fishing opportunities with or without a boat?
Palomino Posted May 9, 2004 #2 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Although we didn't do it, I believe you can rent poles in Ketchikan and fish off the docks. I think there is also a place in Juneau near the salmon hatchery.
Budget Queen Posted May 9, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 9, 2004 The fishing pole rental is next to the Lumberjack show- easy walk from the dock in Ketchikan.
