UmaS Posted August 18, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2004 For all of you who have done the Waverunner excursion on Bora Bora: Would love to try this one. How bumpy is the ride, generally? I'm asking because my husband does have some minor back problems. Thanks in advance for any replies.
Rare macbest Posted August 18, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2004 We did the waverunner on Moorea in near rainy conditions. Found the ride to be very smooth. Bora Bora is even smoother even with the ride being full circle around Bora Bora. I have minor back problems also and found it to be a real treat. Go for it! It is a blast. P.S. Given the choice, I would choose Bora Bora's version over Moorea's which I think is more limited.
Jon Bruno Posted August 19, 2004 #3 Share Posted August 19, 2004 Just back from PG and waverunner the MOST FUN of trip..Do book the one that goes around Bora Bora. It's first and if you like it you can then do it again on Moorea. Coco runs the outfit on Bora Bora and is a hoot. It's not difficult to learn and really not stressful on the back. I too have disc problems but did not ail. It is really fun and you learn a lot about coconuts on a rest stop. Go for it!
CLOU Posted August 19, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2004 My husband and I did the wave runners in both Bora Bora and Moorea in June. My husband also has some back problems. The water is quire smooth, but the ride is still a little bumpy just from the spped of the waverunners. However, my husband had no problems. The ridearound Bora Bora is beautiful and well worth it, in my opinion.
